Relaxation Day on 15 August 2011

Today is the world International Relaxation Day on 15 August 2011.

Just Relax and Enjoy on this day, as its really important to relax for sometime or someday1s.

Relaxation means different for different people.Its a thing that makes you comfortable.Do it today,just relax and enjoy the day as much as you can.

My number one relaxation priority is to spend time with my family.Other wise I get relaxed when I read novels,usually suspense novels or swim .

Left Handers Day on 13 August,2011

13 August is the day to celebrate for left handers as today is the “International Lefthanders Day”.

History About Lefthanders :
This day was first celebrated in 13 August 1976,This day promote and spread awareness about Left handers in lots of countries.

Important things about left handers:

Left-handedness aka(also know as):

1.South paw
2.Sinistrality
3.Sinistromanuality
4.Mancinism
Australians sometimes call left-handers Molly-Dookers.

Q: Why left handers are usually called “South paws” ?

This term is derived from sports usually Baseball and Boxing 🙂

Q: Problems for left handers ?

Left-handed people face problems,from scissors,peeling,cutting to can-openers and computers to power tools.

I too feel extremly difficult while cutting from scissor 😦

Q: Which country has more people who write left handed?
According to wikipedia and lots of searching I found out that ,”Canada” has the most left handers in the world

Q: Does Genetics play important role in Left handers birth ?

The role genetics may play in handedness is not clear.
It is possible, common, and normal for two right-handed
parents to have a left-handed.

A variety of studies suggest that 7 % to 10% of the world population is left-handed.

My story :
I am celebrating this day to as I am also a left hander.In my young age,when I realized that every one is writing from the “Right hand” ,I used to feel really unimportant or left out ,as everybody was doing the same thing and writing with the same hand (Right hand) and I was the only one in the class who write from left hand ,infact there was no kid in the entire school who write
with left hand .

Even in my family there is no cousion of mine who write with left hand ,so I felt a little uncomfortable at times ,but it was all in the begining.As I grew up ,I met lots of people who used to work with left hand,right with left hand .Adter meeting up with those people I became relaxed ,that there are people like me as well ,and I am no Alien 😛
