Rice Pudding Day 2011(9th August)

Today is National Rice Pudding Day 🙂

Question : What is Rice Pudding ?
Answer : Rice pudding is a dish made from rice mixed with milk. You can add fruits , Sweetener and other ingredients according to your taste.

In Urdu this dish is called : “Doodh Chawal”

I used to eat it on daily purposes when I was young (in class 6-8).Last Time I eat Rice Pudding (Doodh Chawal) was in January 2011.Didn’t knew at that time they had a day for it 🙂

Question :How I found out it was Rice Pudding Day :

I am at fast as its the month of Ramadan. I was searching for food and recipes that can be made quickly.So I came to know that today on 9th of August its a day to celebrate “Rice Pudding Day” .I love it.Will surely make it at night tonight .As I stay all night long till “Sehri” (Time to have fast) and I regularly eat after every 1 or 2 hours ,and plus I love experimenting in cooking.

Macro nutrients include :

Micro nutrients include:

1.Mineral
2.Vitamins
3.Fibre

Water Intake “how much to take it”

Today I learn a very good think and would love to share.There are many theories regarding water intake in a day

But the best practice is to first

–>Calculate your weight in kilograms
–>Take Ounces according to your weight in kilogram

means

If i have 65 kilogram of weight,I must be drinking 65 ounces of water in a day to stay healthy

To my mind,its a fashion nowadays rather than a need

Its should be a need of people not a fashion statement

If its a need it good
but if somebody is doing for the fashion statement its not a right thing to do
